4G Small Cell
4G Small Cell eNodeB is suitable for LTE signal coverage in the outdoor environment. The power level can be customized according to the coverage range, and then the optimization problem of signal coverage can be quickly solved through the home broadband or the private network line according to the site conditions. It is optional for built-in antenna or external antenna for fast installation.
Small cell is mainly composed of baseband board (BBU) and a radio frequency board (RRU). For the 4G baseband board, we use Qualcomm's baseband board solution. Currently the baseband board only supports 4G LTE. The baseband board is responsible for directly accessing the 4G core network (EPC) through optical fiber or Ethernet. It determines the number of users, upload and download rates, and so on.
At the same time, a small base station gateway is also used, which can directly access the operator's core network through IPsec to solve the access gateway problem. The entire set of equipment has been maturely used at multiple sites such as China Unicom's bidding pilot, and has received good user feedback.
4G Small Cell Baseband ( BBU)The 4G general small cell baseband module is a miniaturized, multi-standard, multi-band, 3GPP-compliant LTE baseband board. It is based on Qualcomm's FSM9955 + FTR8900 and supports two carriers at the same time. Power amplifier, DPD function, built-in GPS receiver and other functions can be used for both operator's commercial network and various private network occasions.
